Living in Inwood
I moved to New York, last week, to be a better writer. I felt a lot of my opportunities were running out in Rochester and it would be more cost affective to move here instead of coming down here every four months and blowing three hundred dollars for a four day stay.
Ideas so far:
Documentary on subway performers.
Documentary on girl group "Northern State"
Interviews so far:
March edition of "Verbicide Magazine" distributed in NY and LA. Written by Alan Lastufka of zikiwiki.com and Fall of Autumn Press regarding Zine Filmmakers.
Projects so far:
Book of Kaet as told by Potter Freeman
Twelve Months of Kaet: A polaroid project
-Thursday 2/1/07's photo: Me kissing David Wain, with his girlfriend laughing in the background.
Openings in the Future:
Big Art Show in Brooklyn in April. World Premiere of the first three months of the "Twelve Months of Kaet" and other pieces, and two editions of my zine, "Year of the Kaet: Confessions of A Bohemian Sellout" and "Year of the Kaet: I'm not a comedian, damn it!"
Performances in the Future:
Once I dust off my performance prose, I'll probably be touring the open mics again downtown. And I'll try to memorize my material this time.
That's all for now.
